Location. The Caledon Hotel, Spa and Casino is located in Caledon, South Africa, 75 metres from the Caledon Hot Springs, three kilometres from the Caledon Botanical Gardens, and three kilometres from the Die Venster rock formation.
Hotel Features. This modern hotel is situated in palm tree planted gardens, and has views over the mountains. The fully restored Victorian bath house features mineral rich hot springs, and a 12 metre cascading pool, and massages and treatments are on offer. There is also a separate children's pool, an outdoor pool, and a casino.
The Caledon Hotel offers an � la carte menu at The Black Sheep Diner, and Sunday lunch, a buffet dinner, and a complimentary breakfast are served at The Blue Crane. Informal Italian style dishes are offered at Da Vinci.
Business facilities include conference rooms, a business centre, and business services.
There is a children's playground at the hotel, and bikes can be hired to ride on the many trails that pass nearby. There are also opportunities for bird watching, and volleyball.
Guestrooms. There are 81 air conditioned guestrooms, built over two floors, featuring contemporary decor in neutral tones. All are equipped with satellite television, direct dial phones, wireless Internet access, safes, and tea and coffee makers. Bathrooms have a shower and bath combinations.
Expert Tip. The seven thermal springs at the Caledon are warmed by contact with rocks heated by pressure deep under the ground, to a steady temperature of 49.5� Celsius. Free of any organic matter, they were awarded first prize as the world's top quality mineral waters at the Chicago World Fair in 1893.

From Cape Town International Airport (CPT):
Distance to Caledon Hotel Spa and Casino is 150 kilometres, approximately 90 minutes' drive.
Getting there. Taxis are available from the airport's authorised taxi company, Touch Down. Travellers are advised not to use unauthorised taxis. The fare to the hotel is 290 ZAR per person. There is also a daily bus service. Prices are all subject to change.
Getting around. A car is recommended for exploring the area around the hotel.
Driving directions. From the airport, take the N2 and drive for approximately 90 minutes.
Turn right at the third exit marked Caledon.
Take the first left which leads straight to the Caledon Hotel, Spa and Casino.
