Location. Within the historic center of Mazatlan, Mexico, the Hotel La Siesta sits on the famous Olas Altas bay broadwalk, where the city had its beginnings in 1531. Guests are within walking distance of the charming Plaza Machado, which becomes illuminated each night as a favorite gathering place, along with a variety of restaurants, bars and shops. The magnificent Angela Peralta Theater, cathedral and local market are also a short walk away. The Rafael Buelna Airport is 23 kilometers from the hotel.
