Location. Uruguayan born architect Carlos Ott drew the blueprints for the Design Suites Calafate, located less than two kilometers from Calafate, Argentina. The hotel harmonizes with the surrounding natural landscape and overlooks scenic Lake Argentino.

Hotel Features. This contemporary property features exteriors and interiors constructed of Patagonian wood and stone. Furniture pieces are crafted by Disegno Patagonia, where traditional forms carry the stamp of Patagonian influence. The Design Suites Calafate serves complimentary breakfasts each morning. Blend, the hotel's restaurant, conveys a relaxed atmosphere and serves local and international dishes from early morning until long after dusk. Wireless Internet access is complimentary. Function space accommodates small and large groups. A business center offers fax, photocopy and print services. The concierge provides tour and sightseeing information. A fitness center contains cardiovascular and strength training equipment, and offers personal training services.
